I’m a certified infant and toddler sleep consultant, but before all that, I was a sleep-deprived Mum, pacing the hallway at 2am with tears in my eyes and a baby who just wouldn’t settle.
I remember whispering “please just sleep” into the darkness, holding my breath every time I laid him down. My dinner was cold, my back and shoulders were aching, and I felt like I was failing at something that should’ve felt natural.
But I wasn’t failing. I just didn’t have the right support. When my son finally started sleeping better everything shifted! The fog lifted. The days felt lighter. And I knew in my bones that I had to help other Mums feel this too.
When my daughter was born, I felt something I hadn’t before: control, clarity, confidence. I knew what to do, and I trusted myself to do it, even with the small tweaks that were needed.
